​As a librarian, I look at my role as a facilitator of knowledge, the gatekeeper to exciting new worlds, cultures and people. My philosophy as an educator is to provide a comfortable, safe place for students to express themselves, to nurture a love of reading and to develop a passion for lifelong learning.​

In this constantly evolving digital information age, I want to ensure that I am always up to date on new technology, innovations in online research, and differentiated teaching techniques. I believe it is important to not only teach students but to allow students to teach and guide me in becoming a better teacher librarian, and educator.
Qualified Coach Dedicated Librarian
I bring 13 years of experience as an International Baccalaureate teacher-librarian in international schools worldwide. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing from Stanford Brown University and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. Notably, I am the first librarian to complete the Erickson and Lanning Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction Trainer Course, earning certification as a Concept-Based Curriculum Coach. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to present my expertise as a librarian in Portugal, Singapore, and Belgium.
